Technician

Job Summary

The Service Technician position is a main function of Case Financials’ service division. These individuals are the face of the Case Financial corporation and as such be tasked with maintaining a high level of quality, excellence, and professional appearance throughout their duties in the field. Service Technicians are responsible for a variety of tasks with their main function residing around the installation/bring live of equipment, on-site maintenance, tech support, and customer training. ATM Technicians will be installing and servicing NCR, Hyosung, Diebold and Triton machines.

Responsibilities and Duties

– Install a wide range of ATMs and TCRs.

– Testing and commissioning, troubleshooting complex issues and communication with customers to resolve issues.

– Gathering equipment, parts, and supplies for maintenance or installation activities.

– Maintaining proper parts inventory levels in vehicle for service calls.

– Properly transferring parts between inventories and warehouses.

– Diagnose & repair equipment malfunctions.

– Provide phone tech support when available.

– Make calls to customer prior to service calls to try and alleviate issues over the phone.

– Report accurate records of hours and materials used via our Remote Tech phone app.

– Maintain and repair all equipment systems per OEM standards or industry accepted substitutes.

– Work with clients when onsite to ensure their satisfaction with the outcome of your repairs/maintenance activities.

– Plan ahead to minimize time onsite and prevent multiple trips.

– Act in a leadership capacity when onsite with newer or less experienced employees.

– Keep up to date with all licensing, permits, and educational needs as they apply to your responsibilities (i.e. class A, B, C, D drivers licenses, low voltage permits, etc.).

– Train customers to utilize any newly installed equipment when needed.

– Keep Service Dispatch Operator informed of any changes in plans or issues that arise during installations.

– Utilize eAutomate/Remote Tech, Enterprise, and any additional project management/workflow software systems to accurately track your jobs, schedule, mileage, and other activities.

– Work closely with Service Dispatch Operator to coordinate service calls.

– Take your turn on the After-Hours Emergency Dispatch rotation.

– Perform additional functions incidental to service technician activities.

– Other duties as assigned.

Physical requirements

A Service Technician position will lead them to participate in some tasks traditionally associated with physical labor including:

– Standing, crouching, or kneeling for extended period of time

– Climbing and working on ladders

– Lifting heavy objects repeatedly (over 50 lbs.)

– Various Physical Tasks

Qualifications and Skills

– Education: High School Diploma, GED, or other equivalent

– Three years material installations experience, or 5 years of other applicable experiences

– Good interpersonal and communication skills

– Proven record of punctuality

– Intermediate electrical & mechanical skills

– Flexible schedule

– Team-oriented attitude

– Ability to work under pressure

– Systems-oriented thinker

– Networking & software background is a plus

Job Description

We pride ourselves on our humble beginnings when in 1986 we began selling security equipment to financial institutions. Since then, we’ve experienced fantastic growth while adding numerous product lines, service locations and employees, and have become the top re-seller in the upper mid-west for our industry. We’re especially excited about the new technologies and opportunities being presented to us at this time and are looking for additional team members to help maintain our new and existing clients. Summary: The Regional Account Manager is responsible for customer relationship management with our existing client base, which encompasses many aspects of our business such as new sales processes with the client, answering billing questions, helping resolve customer service issues, facilitating routine check-up calls, task management, follow-up, and various other sales/customer service functions as required to serve our clients properly. The Regional Account Manager will reach business targets through excellent sales preparation and proactive sales activities. This individual will also develop his or her revenue generation through the creation of sales leads through cross-selling or up-selling, and establishment of ongoing rapport with his or her customer list. Integrity, personability, and passion for finding solutions for our customers are essential for this role. Proper training will be provided to the representative based on their experience and the training needed to carry out the requirements of the position.

Responsibilities: – Retain and expand assigned client sales territory. Make outbound calls and in-person visits to enhance existing and potential client relationships – Answer inbound phone calls – Follow-up with clients on requests or needs – CRM Database Management – Contract negotiation – Quote preparation – Utilize Service and Sales team, owners, and product experts when necessary – Ability to attend and conduct presentations on-site or at Case demo room.

Qualifications: – Self-starter; able to work well without constant direction – Ability to collaborate with sales and service teams -Excellent presentation skills, Confident with great interpersonal skills – Strong oral communication & critical thinking skills – Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite (Excel specifically) is a must, Adobe Suite & CRM familiarity is a plus) – Familiarity with banking & financial industries is a plus – Previous sales experience required – Experience working with C-Level executives is highly favored.

Business Hours: – M-F 8:00am – 5:00pm, after hours required for events.

Compensation: – Base pay depends on experience, additional commissions, and bonus structure. Employer provided healthcare, 401K with employer matching, PTO/Sick pay.
